SATURDAY SPEAKERS

Siv Ashley
Looking back on my life forty years ago when I first arrived in America, I am struck by how much everything has changed. While some changes have been good, most have been for the worse. One example is cell phones, which no one had back then. Now, people all over the world have cell phones, even in remote areas like the jungles of Africa and the mountains of Nepal. I know this because I have been to these places. However, one thing that will never change is my faith in Jesus Christ.
My story begins in 1971 when I grew up in a poor family in the Cambodian countryside. Despite our circumstances, I was surrounded by loving family members. When I was about 8 years old, my father decided to go to the capital to trade goods at the store and bring home enough money to send me and my brother to school. It was then that he heard the beautiful name of Jesus. He learned so much from the people who told him stories about Jesus, and he believed. He came home so happy and shared the good news with our family, and we all thought about it.
Come to this event to find out the rest of the story.
Nicole Roberts
Nicole is devoted to helping women encounter the presence of God in a way that transforms their everyday lives. They have been married for 19 years and now live in the mountains of North Carolina, where they lead Unified City Church. Their desire is to empower and cultivate a community centered on knowing their true identity in Christ, encountering God’s presence, and developing a deep connection with Jesus.
With a heart for those in crisis and a calling to walk alongside people in their journey toward wholeness, Nicole enjoys weaving together biblical truth, personal reflection, and storytelling to invite others into deeper intimacy with God. She is a homeschooling mother of four, an internationally certified life coach, and is currently pursuing a degree in Christian counseling, equipping her to further support individuals and families in their healing and growth.
